It’s “Door County Reads” time again, thanks to support from the Door County Library Foundation, Friends of Door County Libraries, library staff members, volunteers from community organizations and businesses. Start the year by reading the book that hundreds of others in Door County are reading.
Courtesy of the Friends of Door County Libraries, 500 copies of the book, “Ordinary Grace” by William Kent Krueger, will be distributed via branches of Door County Library starting December 29, 2014. If you finish the book, you are welcome to keep it or pass it on to another reader, or turn it in at any Door County Library, and additional readers will be delighted to read that copy as well. The book is available as an audiobook and can be downloaded to a mobile device, tablet or computer using a library card from OneClickDigital at infosoup.oneclickdigital.com. Large print, audio cd's and regular print copies of the book are also available for borrowing through the library catalog at InfoSoup.org.
Participate in scheduled activities later in January and early February. Mark your calendars: On the evening of Thursday, Feb. 5, the author, William Kent Krueger, will be in Door County to speak to us! A reception will follow the program. There will be special presentations, book discussions, film showings, music, theater, learning opportunities, door prizes and more!
